Installation

Requirements

  • Craft CMS 5.0 or later
  • PHP 8.2 or later

Install via Composer

Open your terminal and run:

composer require justinholtweb/craft-free-nav

Install the Plugin

Then install the plugin via the Craft CLI:

php craft plugin/install free-nav

Or navigate to Settings → Plugins in the Control Panel and click “Install” next to FreeNav.

What Gets Installed

FreeNav creates three database tables (freenav_menus, freenav_menu_sites, freenav_nodes) and registers the Node element type, MenuField field type, and the craft.freenav Twig variable.
